Lviv National Medical University (LNMU)

Lviv National Medical University named after Daniel Galician (LNMU) is perhaps the oldest and largest educational institutions that teaches Medicine in Ukraine. It is also one of the most prominent medical universities of the IV level of accreditation. In 2019 LNMU celebrated its 235th anniversary as it began from the Medical Faculty of Lviv University on November 16, 1784.

Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University which is abbreviated as LNMU was previously known as the Lvov State Medical Institute. Prior to that it was known as the Faculty of Medicine of the John Casimir University and even before that it was called “Faculty of Medicine of the Francis I University”.

Every year at the same time there are more than 19100 students enrolled for different programs.

In 50 years nearly 250,000 foreign students have become doctors and pharmacist from LNMU.

The library of Lviv National Medical University contains over 530,000 volumes of textbooks and manuals as well as numerous types of literature relevant to medical sciences.

Lviv National Medical University is a member of international and European association of universities.

Lviv National Medical University is also 70 other international organizations, academies and various federations

Different Clinical departments of LNMU have funded more than 10000 beds in 41 affiliated hospitals.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:

Copy of International passport.
Copy of High School Certificates.
Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
Invitation Charges 280 US$.
Courier Charges 100 US$.

You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.

After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:

Original Invitation letter
Original international passport (valid for one year)
Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
8 Passport size Photos.
Bank Statement
Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
Air Ticket Reservation.
Travel Insurance.

After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

University Accomodation & Hostel

Hostels & Accommodation Lviv National Medical University (LNMU) accommodation for International students in university hostels. In total, LNMU has 6 dormitories, in which 3 are specifically for International students. Foreign students live in hostels No 2, 5, and 6. Facilities Provided in Lviv National Medical University (LNMU) Hostels:

University provides separate hostels for female students, that distinguishes these hostels best among other European universities.

Rooms are centrally heated.

These hostels offer all students everything they need for good living: a peaceful, healthy, and quiet environment for studying.

Rooms for self-studying furnished with desks and chairs. Document photocopy & printing service is available.

Individual Laundry, gym, billiard rooms are available in every hostel.

Canteens that offers cooked dishes according to the food preferences of foreign students. Moreover, the canteen is used for celebrating different religious and national holidays in the countries which the students come from.

Halal Food & Products are available for Muslim students.

High-Speed Internet connections are available in all hostels
